Our Practice

Paperless Charting

Our office is a digital (paperless) dental office. This means all x-rays and charting are made and recorded with the aid of the computer. Using this technology allows us to maintain your dental records electronically, and cuts down the unnecessary paperwork used with traditional paper charting. Traditional paper charting is difficult to keep standardized from doctor to hygienist to assistant. Using our dental software, this problem is eliminated by use of consistent charting methods that are accurate and precise, making it easy to read your dental chart and see up-to-date information. Digital charting standardizes the charting process so it is clear, easy to understand, and enables us to provide the most accurate and precise care to our patients. When needed and permitted, this method also allows us to quickly and securely share information with your other health care providers.

Insurance Billing

We understand that you may have questions about payments and the billing of your dental insurance. Our front office team will gladly assist you in obtaining information about your benefits, co-payments, pre-authorization estimates, or eligibility. Most insurance companies will pay some portion of your dental fees, and your coverage will depend on your company's or your individual plan contract. We encourage you to review your plan for details on your coverage before your appointment. While we do our best to help you with billing your dental insurance carrier, it is the patients responsibility to confirm eligibility and coverage prior to the treatment.

Our office utilized electronic claims processing. By filing your claim electronically, treatment information and supporting x-rays are efficiently submitted in a standardized format. The benefit to our patients is a faster turnaround time for explanations of benefits and claim payments.

As a courtesy, our office processes your claims. As patients are responsible for all charges which are not covered by insurance, payment is due at the time of service for insured members on non-contracted carriers. This is called fee-for-service. The carriers generally send claim payments directly to the plan subscriber within 30 days of claim submission. Patients with insurance under contracted carriers are responsible for their portion of fees at the time of service.

Automated Appointment Reminders

We use an automated appointment reminder system that will email you prior to your scheduled appointment time reminding you of your appointment. We also text your phone ahead of time to remind you. You, as the patient, can also go online and confirm your appointment. If you do not respond to the messages, our office staff will contact you to confirm your scheduled visit. If you are not home, a message will be left on your voicemail. Failure to notify our office with a 24 hour cancellation notice may result in a charge.

Payment Options

We are committed to providing quality and affordable dental health care. For your convenience we accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express.
